LOS ANGELES, California — A jury Tuesday sided with rapper Cardi B in a $24 million lawsuit, saying she was not liable of assault and other allegations filed by a former security guard.

It took the jury less than an hour to reach its decision, The Guardian reports .

The lawsuit was the result of an incident in 2018 in which the security guard, Emani Ellis, claimed Cardi B used her 3-inch nails to cut Ellis’ cheek and also spat on her outside an obstetrician’s office, the BBC reports . Cardi B was four months pregnant at the time.
