HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Evansville Police have released the name of a man who allegedly fired a gun during robberies at Plato's Closet and Chuck E. Cheese on Green River Road Tuesday night.
According to an affidavit, officers located the suspect, Raquavion Cooper, 23, after being dispatched to reports of armed robberies at the businesses. Authorities say Cooper fled on foot, but he was later captured and taken into custody at a home on the other side of Green River Road. Officers say they found the suspected firearm in a dumpster behind Plato's Closet, and over $2,000 at the residence where Cooper was found.
Cooper was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail and charged with robbery, criminal recklessness, pointing a loaded firearm and resisting law enforcement. He is being held without
