A car crashed into a New Jersey Tesla dealership on Tuesday, injuring three people, police said.

A Tesla Model 3 driven by a 74-year-old woman shattered a section of the front glass window of the dealership on Brunswick Pike in Lawrenceville and came to a stop inside the showroom, township police said in a statement.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting the incident at 3:08 p.m. The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, officials said.

First responders on the scene treated two customers who had been in the showroom at the time and sustained minor injuries caused by broken glass.

An investigation has since found that the driver accidentally accelerated her car forward into the dealership, police said.
