A sick stalker who left rosary beads and a picture of John Lennon at the door of a family home has avoided prison.
David Dalton, 64, was first spotted by a woman living in Pudsey with her partner and children on her doorbell camera on March 2 this year at around 10pm.
Prosecutor Zanisha Herbert told Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday: "She realised she had an alert on her doorbell camera and checked it and saw the defendant walk to her home and approach her vehicle, look at the registration, touch the vehicle, walk up to the front door and touch the doorbell camera.
"The next time was a few days later at 11.40am. She was at home with her son and heard rattling from her front door area and checked the camera and saw him walk and hang a rosary on her front door.
