DENVER (KDVR) — Sunny skies are on the way to Denver heading into the middle of the work week. The area will be staying dry Wednesday with temperatures that will be right around where they should be for this time of the year.

Weather today: Lots of sunshine

Wednesday will be another sunny day for the Denver metro, with the slight chance for afternoon showers in higher elevations. High temperatures will climb to the mid-80s, which is right in line with normal for this time of year. It could be a little breezy at time with gusts upwards of 20 mph at times.

Weather tonight: Clear skies

Skies remain clear overnight as lows drop down into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds will be out of the west southwest anywhere from 5-15 mph.
