STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — As a prelude to the Italian-American Heritage Month of October, September presents a time to explore Italy’s time-honored cultural heritage and recognize the significant cultural and historical contributions of Italian immigrants and their ancestors.

In keeping with that concept, each year the DaVinci Society of Wagner College hosts its annual Scholarship Dinner.

This year’s event is slated for Thursday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. in Nicotra’s Ballroom of the Hilton Garden Inn..

The DaVinci Society was formed during the spring of 2000, and is made possible through the support of its executive committee and other friends and alumni of the Grymes Hill college.
