Wednesday has been absolutely beautiful and seasonal and overnight temperatures will gradually cool off with lows in the upper 60s.

Another fantastic and crisp morning is on tap for Thursday, but the afternoon will be hot. Compressional heating will take place ahead of the next front on Thursday, leading to highs flirting with the triple digits across North Texas. Hopefully, the Cowboys will also be heating up and scorching the Eagles during Thursday's game.

The heat won't last for long; temperatures this weekend are forecasted to dip well below average.

Friday will remain hot and cloudy with a slight chance for rain. The rain will depend on the placement and timing of the front, as well as the moisture available in the atmosphere.
