Our warmest day of the week arrives on Wednesday with temperatures surging to the low 80s with plenty of sunshine. Clouds will build in overnight with showers starting to work in after midnight and especially closer to sunrise on Thursday.
Rain will turn widespread quickly on Thursday morning and continue to be widespread throughout the morning into the early afternoon. Showers will gradually taper off Thursday afternoon with winds picking up at times and temperatures stalling in the low to mid 60s. Rain totals will average about a half of an inch across the area.
