BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing a woman at a truck stop in Boron on Tuesday, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a possible stabbing at the Love's Truck Stop in the 27000 block of Boron Frontage Road at around 4:45 p.m., according to officials.

Deputies arrived and found a woman suffering from a stabbing. She received medical treatment and was taken to a hospital, but her condition is unknown as of Wednesday, according to officials.

Gurjant Singh, 28, was found at the truck stop and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and burglary, inmate records show. Singh is currently in custody.
