Nine inmates who escaped from the Orleans Justice Center in New Orleans in May were in court Wednesday.

Their cases were heard by a judge, and their defense attorneys faced a substantial amount of video evidence in the case that will require their own hard drives for storage. Advertisement

Antoine Massey's attorney, Bobby Hjortsberg, has already begun the process of acquiring storage for his case.

Gary Price's attorney mentioned the possibility of holding a fundraiser to purchase a sufficiently large drive.

Kendell Myles' attorney is requesting a sanity evaluation following his time at Angola, with a competency hearing scheduled for Thursday.

The inmates' next court date was scheduled for Sept. 18.
