The unidentified body has not yet been confirmed to be linked to the boater who went missing over Labor Day weekend.

On Sunday, a man and his girlfriend were leaving from the Bonnabel Boat Launch, headed out for Mandeville, when an accident sent the couple into the water. Advertisement

The woman was rescued, but the man has yet to be found. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is the lead organization on this case and will provide additional details as they become available.
