OCEANA COUNTY, MI - A new park for all generations, skill-levels and interests has been welcomed by the community.

Since opening last year, around 110,000 people have visited the Shelby Township Community Park, located at 204 N. Michigan Avenue.

The bright, 35-acre park in Oceana County’s Shelby Township connects to the Hart-Montague bike trail.

There is a 1.3-mile paved walking trail that circles around the entire park.

It also has a variety of sports fields, a playground area, dog park and other attractions for the whole family.

Being built next door to the park is a 65,000 square foot indoor sports and community facility.
