TANGENT, Ore. - One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 34 on Tuesday afternoon, according to Tangent Rural Fire District officials.
Tangent fire officials said that firefighters responded at 3:45 p.m. on Sept. 2 to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Highway 34 and Goltra Road involving a passenger vehicle and semi-truck. Fire and emergency personnel arrived to find a small pickup with significant driver’s side damage. Crews used hydraulic tools to free the injured occupant in 13 minutes. The driver was then taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. The Lebanon Fire District provided an ambulance and sent an engine to assist. An Albany Fire Department medic unit was also dispatched to support Lebanon Fire District during the incident.
