Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) is sticking it to President Donald Trump .

Massie filed a much-anticipated discharge petition on Tuesday to force a floor vote on requiring the release of all files related to late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein . The move comes as the Bluegrass State lawmaker and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), the co-author, introduced legislation in July, which would compel the Justice Department to make the Epstein files public within 30 days.

The measure, which has garnered 134 signatures as of Wednesday morning, needs to secure at least 218 — a majority of the lower chamber — to bring the bill before the full House for a vote, effectively circumventing leadership. Both Massie and Khanna have expressed confidence in reaching the threshold.
