The Sex Pistols, sans Johnny Rotten, were about to embark on their first North American tour in 22 years, performing Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols in its entirety.

However, an injury to guitarist Steve Jones has forced the band to postpone the entire tour, scheduled to begin on Sept. 16 in Dallas. That includes an October appearance at The Fillmore in Minneapolis.

"I've got some good news and bad news," Jones said in a social media post. "What do you want first? Okay, the bad news: I've broken my wrist, so unfortunately we won't be doing any shows for a while.

"The good news is the surgeon said I will be back playing guitar in the not-too-distant future. The other good news is I'll be 70 tomorrow! God bless, and God save the wrist."
