NOLENSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- A man who was released from jail in North Carolina was picked up again, hundreds of miles away, following a traffic stop in Middle Tennessee.
The Nolensville Police Department caught an SUV speeding along Nolensville Road during the early morning hours of Aug. 18. Officers pulled over the driver -- later identified as 40-year-old Nicholas James Clement -- and discovered his license was suspended.
Authorities said the man's story about to what he was doing didn't add up. At one point, Clement reportedly claimed to be working for a food delivery service.
When officers looked in the backseat, they saw two large glass jars of a green leafy substance, later confirmed to be marijuana.
"You have something in the back that looks like marijuana," an officer commente
