MOORHEAD — There are many things that are more likely than winning the Powerball jackpot, but there is still a chance someone wins more than $1 billion in Wednesday night's drawing.

The jackpot has climbed to $1.3 billion, the fifth largest in the game's history.

While there has not been a jackpot winner yet, a gas station in Moorhead has seen thousands of winners over the last week, with some tickets climbing into six digits.

"It's very fun to give out a big winner like that. I mean, I gave out a $10,000 winner and he tipped me nice. It's ... not only fun for the customer, but it's fun for us, too. So it's enjoyable to see if somebody wins a lot of money like that," said Lorrie Lorentz, assistant manager at M&H.

The next drawing for the Powerball is Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 10 p.m.
