TOLEDO, Ohio — Tenants at Executive Towers say they’ve had enough, announcing legal action after weeks of what they call silence from management about critical repairs.

Residents report unsafe conditions inside the Toledo apartment complex , including roof leaks and mold, which they say have gone ignored.

Nearly two weeks ago, tenants sent a letter to Denizen Management, the building’s owner, outlining their demands. The letter warned that if nothing changed in seven days, renters would consider putting payments in escrow, filing lawsuits or breaking leases.

“They never responded,” tenant Ken Sikorski said. “No response, no response.”
