KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police are on the scene after multiple people were injured in a shooting Wednesday night in Midtown.

Police responded to the shooting just before 9 p.m. in the area of Harrison Street and Armour Boulevard.

The Kansas City Fire Department said when paramedics arrived on scene there were four gunshot victims.

All four victims were taken to area hospitals. Three are reported to be in critical condition and the other is in stable condition.
