EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Watch highlights from the games between Memorial, Mater Dei, and Castle on opening night of the first season of girl’s high school flag football.

“They cannot get over how much fun it was. They had a blast. I think they were a little hesitant and nervous, not knowing, with not having played before. We didn’t do a practice game, we’ve just been going against each other. They just enjoyed it,” said Head Coach Tara Schnur.

“I’ve always watched the boys play football, so it was kind of cool that the girls got a chance to play. We were all excited to get out and try something new. It was really fin and I can’t wait until next Wednesday,” said Junior Quarterback Izzy Like.
