Nevadans seeking a COVID vaccination at a CVS or Walgreens pharmacy are getting a big “No” when trying to schedule one.

It’s part of a quickly changing vaccination environment at federal and state levels.

In a Sept. 3 announcement , governors in California, Oregon and Washington said they would coordinate vaccine recommendations through the newly created West Coast Health Alliance “to ensure residents remain protected by science, not politics.”

“President (Donald) Trump’s mass firing of CDC doctors and scientists — and his blatant politicization of the agency — is a direct assault on the health and safety of the American people,” the governors said in a joint statement.
