HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Hastings Museum is opening its latest exhibit, A Century of Sound, which celebrates 100 years of the Hastings Symphony Orchestra. The Hastings Symphony Orchestra is Nebraska’s longest-running symphony orchestra.

The exhibit, which opens with a private event on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 7:00 p.m., invites Hastings Museum Members and Hastings Symphony Orchestra Season Pass holders to explore the history and impact of this beloved institution on the local community. The private Exhibit Opening will feature small bites, a cash bar, and a live performance by the Hastings Symphony String Quartet. The evening will also honor special guests Roger and Karen Doerr, longtime supporters of the symphony.
