HASTINGS, Neb. (CCC) - It was moving day at Central Community College as a 1,300 square-foot house moved out of the Hastings campus and on its way to its new home in Bradshaw.
The home was built by students in the Construction Technology, Electrical Technology and HVAC programs.
Work started on the house last fall and was completed in the 2024-25 academic year.
Due to some logistical challenges, moving the completed house had to wait until the fall semester.
Alison Feeney, Associate Dean for Career and Technical Sciences, said the delay allowed many of the students who worked on the house to see it move out.
