Executive search firms New Town Partnership and Hanover Berkeley are merging.

Initial discussions about joining forces first took place three years ago, with the rebranded New Town Hanover set to formally launch later this month.

The four partners, Jane Gilchrist and Louise Gibson from New Town Partnership and Paul Dixon and Chris O’Brien from Hanover Berkeley, forecast that combined fee income should reach £2m by the end of 2026.

Both headquartered in Edinburgh, with London offices, the firms also plan to expand further into sectors such as financial and professional services, renewable energy, healthtech, infrastructure and data centres.
