STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. -- Three wildfires started by lightning have grown overnight.
The Crown Creek Fire and Blackhawk Fire near Northport and the Katy Creek Fire near Kettle Falls have all been active due to dry and hot conditions in the area. All three have 0% containment.
In an update Thursday morning, the Crown Creek Fire has nearly doubled in 24 hours now burning approximately 10,700 acres, or 17 square miles. Firefighters are prioritizing protecting homes in the area and expect more growth today.

The Blackhawk Mountain Fire burning near the Crown Creek Fire has grown to approximately 800 acres.
The Katy Creek Fire in Ferry County is now at around 1,300 acres. People living between Nancy Creek and Deadman Creek Road are told to
