EPHRATA, Wash. -- It's been a few days but people living in the City of Ephrata can now safely drink their water without having to boil it first.
The City of Ephrata lifted its boil water advisory that was put in place earlier this week for a water line break.
The city says a lab in Pasco has confirmed the water is safe for regular use such as cooking and cleaning. Repairs to the line were made Wednesday.
People may want to let their water run a bit first in order to flush any remaining sediment. Some mild discoloration may be expected.
