DENVER (KDVR) -- A man on a motorcycle died in a crash with a turning vehicle in Aurora on Wednesday night, while witnesses reported he may have been racing with another motorcyclist, according to police.
Officers responded to a reported crash with serious injuries near the 19500 block of East 38th Avenue around 10 p.m. and found the man dead at the scene, the Aurora Police Department said in a report on Thursday.
Police said the investigation so far has found that a Kia SUV was driving eastbound and attempted to make a legal U-turn when the crash happened.
Witnesses told police that two motorcyclists appeared to be racing each other, also traveling east. Police said one motorcycle t-boned the SUV, and the rider was thrown from the bike and died
