PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio -- City Council recently passed a six-month moratorium on short-term rentals.
“Moratoriums give us an opportunity to be thorough and diligent when studying a topic of importance and put a pause on any activity,” Parma Heights City Council President Tom Rounds said.
“The latest short-term moratorium was brought to us by the administration with concerns that there were potential loopholes in our current legislation. Parma Heights is a community of neighborhoods. We want to be sure to preserve this.”
The recent legislation comes after a previous six-month moratorium was approved earlier this year.
