WASHINGTON, D.C. — D.C. influencer Raymond Harper, widely known online as Rolling Ray, has died at age 28, just days before his 29th birthday, Fox 5 Washington D.C. reported .

Rolling Ray rose to prominence through his appearances on MTV’s “Catfish: Trolls,” the LGBTQ+ dating show “Bobby I Love You,” “Purrr” and “Divorce Court,” US Weekly reported .

Rolling Ray, who was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) type 3, built a following of more than 445,000 Instagram followers and 7,800 TikTok followers while using his platform to advocate for disabled representation and break down stereotypes.

Following news of his death, tributes began pouring in from fans and colleagues. The Zeus Network, a platform where Rolling Ray appeared, offered its condolences.
