FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio -- The $14.1 million renovation of the Gemini Center’s natatorium is starting to get into the deep end.
The city recently reported: “Stainless steel walls continue to be built in the leisure pool and the concrete pool floor in the competition pool will soon be installed. Demolition in the pump room is wrapping up as well.
“In addition to the pool wall structures, plumbing and drainage (are) taking place for both pools. Roof work has finished in our multi-purpose Gym. Work on the main gym roof should be completed in the next few weeks.”
The latter required the temporary closure of the main gym through completion of the roof work.
