PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland's beloved Powell's Books faced its third round of layoffs in September, according to a spokesperson for the company.
Powell's Chief Marketing Officer Jeremy Solly confirmed to KOIN 6 News that the company conducted layoffs in July, August and September, impacting a total of 18 positions.

Solly said those who want to help should choose to spend their money at smaller businesses like Powell's.
