This October, Sofar Sounds, the global secret-concert series that’s turned everything from living rooms and city landmarks into impromptu stages in more than 400 cities, returns to Indy after a year-and-a-half hiatus. With a new local producer, they’re curating nights where you don’t know the artist or the exact location until 36 hours before showtime. And Sofar is not alone. Unconventional shows have been multiplying in spaces that exist in the “if you know, you know” category.
