The Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) Homicide Unit arrested Vamsi Potiny, 42, for vulnerable adult abuse and endangerment.
Vamsi Potiny is the son of Sitharamanjaneyulu Potiny, 72, who has been missing since Aug. 29. PCSD said detectives established probable cause to arrest the son after several days of searching for the 72-year-old and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
The search continues for the missing vulnerable adult, with new information coming in about where the 72-year-old may have been on the day he went missing.
