The Democratic Republic of the Congo on Thursday declared its first Ebola virus outbreak in more than 3 years, with more than two dozen cases and 15 deaths already suspected.

According to WHO, the outbreak is affecting Bulape and Mweka health zones in Kasai province. An investigation began after there were reports of patients with symptoms that included fever, vomiting, diarrhea and hemorrhage, WHO said.
