FDOT announces a week of nighttime and daytime construction on major thoroughfares including US 19 and the Sunshine Skyway.

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7 has released its weekly lane closure summary, and it’s a busy one for Pinellas County drivers. From September 7 through September 13, 2025, motorists should prepare for significant delays and plan alternate routes as crews undertake a variety of construction and maintenance projects.

A major focus of the work is along US 19 , with several segments scheduled for lane closures.
