MONROE, La. (KNOE) - CABLE (Communities Acting to Benefit LA’s Elderly) is hosting a Senior Health Fair at the West Ouachita Community Center from 9 am to 11am

CABLE is a nonprofit that helps seniors citizens in Ouachita parish and the surrounding areas. The organization’s free event will be for those seeking information on senior care without having to register beforehand.

Over 30 businesses will be present to offer information on nursing homes, assisted living facilities and insurance companies. They will also be able to answer any questions attendees may have.

Hospitals will also be at the event to offer blood pressure checks, and the VCOM mobile unit will be set up for use.
