YPSILANTI, MI – An Ypsilanti convenience store is currently closed following the release of a video showing a fight inside the store.
The Beer Cooler, located at 22 S. Washington St. in downtown Ypsilanti, has been closed since Aug. 31 when a video of a fight inside the shop between two employees and a woman began spreading on social media.
The owner of The Beer Cooler could not be reached for comment.
Online records show police are investigating a report of vandalism and a simple assault at the shop’s location.
Ypsilanti Police Chief Timothy Anderson declined to comment on the incident, citing the investigation as still open and ongoing.
