LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The 59th floor of the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas was briefly evacuated Thursday morning.

The Clark County Fire Department says there was a fire in one of the rooms that had been extinguished by security before firefighters arrived.

Security also evacuated other rooms on the floor.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said one female had injuries unrelated to the fire. She was taken to the hospital and has since died.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated, and police said the woman's death is being investigated as a suicide.
