Suspicious vehicle: SOM Center Road

A limousine driver hired for a local wedding reported an unknown Volkswagen Jetta followed him into the University School parking lot that he and other chauffeurs were using for a turnaround at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 31.

The Jetta then stayed in the lot, where the limo drivers could not see the occupants, due to dark-tinted windows.

After the caller said the wedding party had concerns about going back to their limos with the suspicious Jetta in the lot, police arrived to check on the unknown driver.

Officers learned the unknown driver was simply there to pick up a friend from University School and got back on the road around 1:10 a.m.
