ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 28-year-old from Rochester has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography following a prior conviction for the same thing.
Marcobrien S. Volcy is facing up to 20 years, a minimum of 10 years, in prison, as well as a fine of $250,000 for pleading guilty to the possession of child porn after he was already convicted for that in 2023.
In the previous conviction, he was sentenced to one to three years in prison. Then, in January of 2024, while still on probation, Volcy allegedly had a cellphone with over 650 images and videos of child porn, officials say, some of which include prepubescent children.
The FBI carried out this investigation.
Volcy is scheduled to be sentenced on January 14, 2026.
