HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- The Pennsylvania State Police in Huntingdon have released their monthly crime and patrol activity statistics report for August.

Throughout the month, there were 23 crashes, with only one being a hit and run, and no fatal crashes. There were 10 cases of someone being injured because of a crash.

Troopers issued 295 citations, with four of those being DUIs and 274 warning notices. Eleven drivers were assisted, and there were only four DUI-related crashes with no fatalities, according to the report. Twenty-three seatbelt citations were issued through the month, with none issued due to a child not strapped in to their seat correctly.
