SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- The Somerset County Suicide Prevention Task Force is inviting the public to its sixth annual 'Good Vibes Save Lives' suicide prevention event.

The event is set for Sept. 20 at Laurel Arts in Somerset. The event begins at 3 p.m., with mental health advocate and author of "A Dove in the Shadows: My Mental Health Journey from Patient to Professional", Jennifer Silbaugh, sharing her experiences. She will then also lead a memorial walk in honor of those lost by suicide.

All are welcome to the free, family-friendly event, and attendees can enjoy food and plenty of activities while offering a safe space to support those affected by suicide.
