NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) — Trae Young, a former University of Oklahoma basketball star and current NBA All-Star for the Atlanta Hawks, was announced as ESPN's guest picker on 'College GameDay' in Norman as #18-ranked OU takes on #15-ranked Michigan on Saturday.

During his time at OU, Young averaged 27.4 points per game, while also averaging 3.9 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game as a Freshman. He also took home first-team All-American and National Freshman of the Year.

Young was later drafted by the Dallas Mavericks as the fifth overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft, but was then traded to the Atlanta Hawks. Since then, he has become a four-time NBA All-Star, among several other accolades.
