Warmer weather should cap off the week in Massachusetts on Friday, but stormy conditions could erupt over the weekend.

A stray shower could happen Friday morning, but it should be a mostly dry day, according to the National Weather Service. Conditions should warm up to the low or mid-80s, with muggy conditions likely to be present. Winds could kick up between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts reaching 30 mph.

To the west, a cold front should enter the region and potentially bring temperatures down into the mid-60s overnight, forecasters said.

Going into Saturday, summer conditions should be present during the day, with highs in the mid- to high 80s, forecasters continued. Wind could reach 20 and 30 mph by the afternoon, with gusts reaching 35 mph.
