GOODYEAR, AZ (AZFamily) — The man who plowed into a group of bicyclists, killing two, has learned his punishment over two years after the initial West Valley collision.
After accepting a plea deal in August , Pedro Quintana-Lujan was sentenced to one year. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of causing serious physical injury or death by a moving violation .
Along with the prison sentence, Quintana-Lujan will have his driver’s license suspended for 180 days and be on probation for three years. He will also undergo a year of drug testing, pay a $2,500 fine and complete 60 hours of community service.
