Grovetown is 2-1 for the first time since 2022 and only the fourth time to start a season in school history. Not only that, the Warriors are a field goal at Greenbrier away from being undefeated.

Both of their wins feature an offense that generated 42 points. The defense is surrendering just 12 points per game.

Meanwhile, the Thomson Bulldogs got rolled 33-14 to North Augusta and needed late game heroics to narrowly knock off an 0-2 Richmond Academy squad.

The Warriors are coming in sky high with confidence despite never winning in The Brickyard and only beating the Bulldogs once in school history, while Thomson’s early-season play has caused some to wonder how good this year’s bunch is.
