Nine windows at this elementary school were damaged by gunfire over the weekend

An elementary school in the Barelas neighborhood was damaged by gunfire over the holiday weekend.

Albuquerque Public Schools’ Dolores Gonzales Elementary School had several windows shattered by bullets. According to the Albuquerque Police Department, shots were detected at 3:35 a.m. Sunday by nearby gunshot detection technology.
