TOWANDA, PA (WENY) -- Saturday, September 6 will mark the return of Porchfest to Towanda, Pennsylvania.

The festival aims to celebrate live music, and build a sense of community. Dozens of musicians from across the region and beyond with perform on porches throughout the town. Organizers say this year's fest is the biggest to date.

"We've just grown since then. This is our third year, we have almost 50 performers, we have almost 20 porches, the sponsors have lost their reluctancy, and they've really really showed up for us and they're really making it possible for us," said Porchfest Committee member, Kevin Doupe.
