ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Ithaca Police are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries on Friday night.
The Ithaca Police Department says officers responded to the area of West Buffalo Street and Taughannock Boulevard around 10:49 P.M. on Friday, September 5 for reports of a pedestrian-involved motor vehicle accident. According to investigators, the driver left the scene after the collision. No information about the driver or vehicle has been released at this time.
Police say the victim was struck in the roadway and airlifted to a local trauma center for treatment. The victim’s name has not yet been released.
