UK Youth has launched the Joined Up Institute , a fully funded, year-long professional development pilot designed to strengthen collaboration across youth-facing services in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The pilot, co-designed by local young people and sector stakeholders, will begin in October 2025 in Leicester.

The programme will bring together 300 emerging leaders from diverse sectors, including education, youth work, health, social care, youth justice, sport and housing.

Participants will develop leadership skills, expand local networks, and explore effective ways to improve outcomes for young people.

Learning will take place through a mix of in-person workshops and online sessions, all designed to connect professionals and create a pipeline of future changemakers.
